renalerts@lists is a family of announce-only mailing lists that provides operational information and alerts for those components of the South African NREN for that TENET operates. It is aimed at technical staff, help desk managers, providers, and anyone interested in the operations of the SA NREN.
Membership of the lists are open to anybody interested in research and education networking in South Africa, but subscription is moderated. Subscribers with ac.za email addresses are automatically admitted. All others may be requested to provide a short note explaining the nature of their interest.
The family consists of a number of region-specific sublists, allowing you to tailor the information you receive.
We also maintain several service-specific mailing lists aimed at the technical staff who manage those services within your institution. You'll find information about these lists at https://lists.tenet.ac.za/sympa/lists/services.
