While we require that institutions host their own primary DNS services, we offer a basic secondary DNS hosting service for institutions that subscribe to both our AC.ZA DNS Registry or Local Internet Registry services and who also make use of our Network Connectivity services.
Our secondary DNS service is aimed at institutions that already have technical competency with DNS, and simply need geographically diverse nameservers to complement their own service. The intent is to provide beneficiaries with a means to improve the reliability and resiliency of the Domain Name System.
