The National Research Foundation has joined eight other funders from six other countries in signing an ORCID open letter affirming their commitment to implementing ORCID iDs in the grant application and reporting process, in accordance with their best practice guidelines for funders. This is an important step for South African research, and something TENET's ORCID Consortium members stand to benefit from.
